Trump: Maduro faces strong economic actions

United States President Donald Trump threatened with “strong and swift economic actions” against Venezuela if  Nicolas “Maduro regime imposes it Constituent Assembly on July 30.”

Venezuelan people "made clear that they stand for democracy, freedom and rule of law. Yet their strong and courageous actions continue to be ignored by a bad leader who dreams of becoming a dictator," Trump said in a statement. “The United States will not stand by as Venezuela crumbles,” he said and called for free and fair elections in the country.

After months of street rallies that have led to nearly 100 deaths, Venezuela’s opposition,  the Democratic Unity coalition brought millions onto the streets on Sunday for an informal referendum against Maduro (pictured)  they call a dictator.
