US stocks seen higher as Trump concerns fade

United States stock index futures indicated a higher open on Friday as investors brushed off concerns regarding President Donald Trump allegedly sharing confidential information with Russian officials, as well as those about the ongoing investigation over the Trump campaign's potential links to Moscow. Trump insisted that "even his enemies" can confirm there was no collusion between his team and Russia in the run up to the 2016 presidential election.

The Dow Jones is seen 0.14% in the green, the Nasdaq 100 is set to gain 0.24% and the S&P 500 is expected to add 0.25%.

The euro climbed 0.53% against the dollar to sell for 1.1163 at 12:22 pm CET and the pound roe 0.54% compared to the US currency to change hands for 1.3010 at 12:23 pm CET. The greenback edged down 0.08% against the yen to go for 111.402 at 12:23 pm CET.
