White House: Iran complying with agreement

The US administration said on Monday Iran was complying with the 2005 nuclear agreement but signaled it was ready to take a tougher stance on Teheran over non-nuclear issues, US media reported.

The US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told Congress earlier that Iran was following the deal and Congress insisted that Trump administration should certify every 90 days whether Iran was following the agreement.

Media reported that the White House officials however said that President Donald Trump will increase pressure on Teheran in response to activities such as its ballistic missile tests, cyber attacks and other actions that they said “severely undermined” the intent of the nuclear accord.
