Trump condemns clashes in Charlottesville

United States President Donald Trump condemned on Saturday clashes during far-right protests in Virginia and called for all Americans to be "united" against everything that "hate stands for."

"We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!" Trump tweeted. "Am in Bedminster for meetings & press conference on V.A. & all that we have done, and are doing, to make it better-but Charlottesville sad!"

Earlier, violent clashes broke out between the far-right group "Unite the Right" and counterprotesters during protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. Multiple people were reported to be severely injured after a car plowed into the crowd during the clashes.
