Trump eyeing Goldman's Cohn for budget chief

The Office of Management and Budget in the administration of president-elect Donald Trump may be headed by Gary Cohn, president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs Group Inc., according to reports published on Wednesday by the media in the United States. Numerous sources of several outlets were quoted as saying the investment banker is considering to take the said post or possibly another top government job.

Cohn, who met Trump yesterday, is nominally affiliated to the Democratic Party, but has recently financed Republican campaigns more. Trump has hired two Goldman's former employees for important positions: Steven Mnuchin is the secretary-designate of the Department of the Treasury and Steve Bannon will be the next national leader's adviser.
